D will be on leave as of tomorrow.
Come saturday, she will be legally-wed and be an official Mrs.
No bachelorette or hen-party kinda celebration. Yes, to mark the end of her singlehood (with me), we had our usual mi soto and I decided to walk her home.
We parted with a hug and the reality kicked in.
'MY GOOD FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED.'

Oh, I did feel that pang of sadness.
Its super strange. Not as if D will be a completely changed person after her marriage.
She still has to go to school. Dur. And attend classes with me.
To see a friend grew up with you since we hit puberty suddenly getting married is indeed overwhelming.
Plus the fact that you realised you are not getting any younger. Bleah.
It was quality time spent.
