Is it possible to control your flaring temper and maintain your cool even if you feel murderous?

I witness (yet again) a 'couple-fighting' drama.
Curiosity kills the cat - (Nicer term for kaypoh), I was an attentive audience but you cant blame me, it happened right in front of my eyes.

The girl walked away.
The guy stood there, probably, thinking how to react.
A few minutes later, he walked towards the opposite direction.
Stupid is not the right word.
Its more to wrong decision, boy.
Because guys even if you are not a goon-goon, you can be one sometimes.
But give them credit, its the male mind we can never understand.

My theory is (cet) if a woman walks away, in her heart she's waiting for you to chase after her.
I cant promise you instant results.
But her ego will melt (well, u make an effort to run!)
Maybe she will continue to be stubborn and angry but unless she has a gun (even if its a water gun), its quite safe to stand beside her - not talking btw.
