:: My not-so-sunny Sunday ::
I hate to admit the fact that I enjoy riding even though I should be shot for making such wide U-turns.
'Eye-line.Eye-line.' is apparently my instructor's fav. phrase for me.
Apart from being short-sighted, I am also 'bad' when it comes to looking ahead - which explains my lack of interest to plan for the future.
Live by the day. Hohoho.
And enjoy every minute of it.
Ok, thats about to change. Someone's bulldozer is slowly causing my wall to crumble.
Sundays - I have a new name for it.
My public transportation day.
A day where I have to tolerate 'kiasuism'.
A day where I have to get accustom to the idea that Singapore does not only belong to Singaporeans. Hor.
The encounter in the bus.
A bus-driver who e-brake and caused the passengers who were standing up to jerk.
For a second, maybe one can curse the bus-driver.
But hell, if u are a driver, you should know e-brakes are sometimes necessary.
TP dont hit the dashboard and expect you to e-brake for no reason.
You have to react. An immediate reaction.
However, this particular woman was so damn angry, she began shouting and cursing like a madwoman.
Didnt help that I was sitting in front of her..trying to comprehend the bad language she was throwing at the bus driver.
And I wonder why people have so much anger in them that a forgiven situation can turn into a battle of lashing tongue.
Seriously aunty, are you that angry?
Has life been that cruel to you? Hor.
Train rides to town on a Sunday.
A big no-no. Though its unavoidable for me.
I felt so foreign amidst the Indo, Bangla and Fillipino crowd (the back cabin btw).
For a second, I tried to picture myself as a tourist instead.
With a big straw hat, sunglasses and a big bagpack.. a lil indo accent..
'Ya pak, bisa hantarin gue ke lokasi ini. Gue kepingin lihat sekitar Singapur.. Bisa ngakk..?'
'Aduh! Nona manis.. mau ke mana.. bisa saja dibawa jalan-jalan...'
Thats it. Lately the wires in my brain are screwed up. Pretty bad sometimes.
Which brings me to an interesting read about rewiring and replugging.
Rewiring and replugging might give you a SHOCK!
And in fact, you are right to think you'll be shocked.
When you rewire and replug yourself, you will always experience momentary SHOCKS OF TRUTH..as well as the glaring painful light of self-responsibility in your face.
Um.er..which is why you've been preferring to stay in the dark. You've been choosing to stay in the dark. You've been choosing to stay with your PATTERN OF FAMILIAR PAIN rather than risk the POTENTIAL NEW PAIN from shocking truths and the glaring light of self-responsibility.
If you want to get out of the darkness you are in, you must be willing to experience momentary shock and glare. Yes, just as when you've been in a dark room and turn on the light, your eyes will always initially sting, the same goes for being in the emotional dark and turning on your guiding light.
THE GOOD NEWS IS:
Although this shock and glare might hurt at first...
the illumination you receive from truth and self-responsibility will always help you find new, unexplored paths that can lead you to your Dream Quest.
THE BAD NEWS IS:
If you dont bother to rewire and replug yourself...
The Universe will attempt to do it for you..
by giving you SOME VERY LARGE SHOCKS!
