straits times headline; 'flu pandemic can strike at any time'.
WHO forecasted that a new virus will hit world, killing 150 million people worldwide.
so how ready are we to such a catastrophe.

already world peace had been disrupted by various problems.
natural disasters like Typhoon Katrina, Rita and currently Damrey had already taken lives, homes of d people.
n everyday we read abt political instability issues worldwide. social problems thats rising and d neverending economic problems faced by third world countries.

its a good time to thank our lucky stars.
as we had not been directly affected by such problems that prevailed in other countries.
and as we pray for our well-being, we should also extend our prayers to our other human counterparts who became victims of d disasters.

its a good time to appreciate what we have been blessed with.
people around us. the country we living in.
because we could never know when it will be taken away.
as fast as a second. as late as a minute.

its a good time to reflect upon ourselves.
to wat extend had we make contributions to people in need.
are we feeding our life with spoonfuls of hatred n greed or sympathies n care.
how can we better ourselves in d eyes of God, parents, friends n us.

so again, how ready are we to such a catastrophe.
d answer lies within you. your fears n your acceptance to reality. that d world is changing - for d better or worse, you decide.
