someone said, 'girls often married men who reminds them of their fathers'.
i share the same sentiment.
dad's strong qualities outshines his imperfections. n thats d kind of dad i want my children to have.
girls, even in denial, would want a fairy-tale ending to their love story.
but as each chapters unfold, we learnt that its not going to be true.
no story as beautifully told as Cinderella or Snow White whose lucky enough to live happily ever after. Neither of us is Cinderella nor Snow White. We are not blessed with that amount of luck or 'magical coincidence'. But we have our own story to tell, one that could never be copyrighted or plagiarized.
in search of the 'perfect' man, we must first learnt in d life dictionary, perfection is non-existent.
but it shouldnt stop us from finding d best among the pack; one that complemented us in ways we never imagined. Not all of us can capture d heart of a real prince but we can make a prince out of our man. N as writers of our own lifestory, we have control of the plot n characters. Maybe as each chapters unfold, we do not only realise d importance of our significant other, but discover how worthy we are -- our strengths, our qualities as a woman.
