a truly aspiring speech made by our prime minister.
'never say die' d simple key to success.

sundays - time well spent with my tutees. as usual i learnt something new today. n i quote from jordan 'sometimes its not good to scold right' after narrating how his language teacher will throw or tear d homeworks when its not done up to her expectations.
i am not a believer of coperal punishment, though i wont rule out scolding if d need arises. Some kids improve when being talked to nicely, some kids improve after lots of nagging and scolding.
Every student is different and as future educators, we should try to adopt various ways when it comes to communicating with our students. And as Im typing right now, Im envisioning the difficulty of trying to even hold proper conversations with at least 30 of my students.
Why?
Time constraint. Enough load of stress. Stacks of books n worksheets to mark. Rushing through syllabus. Focusing on academic performance. And sometimes I felt most of our visions as educators are too idealistic to be carried out in a normal school environment. But I believe, we wouldnt know the outcome unless we are brave enough to at least try and realising our vision that we thought is impossible.

errr...... dh mcm step nak kasi speech pulak. weeeeeee
