today was my first tuition assignment. scooted off to jordan's, not knowing where to start, how to go abt with things. bt aftr d two hour session, we started warming up to each other. god knows how much i learnt from him today. am anticipating what im gonna learnt from him during future sessions.
talking to ten-year olds cn be refreshing.
they asks you things that had never crossed your mind; like whose d creator of language or how the clock ticks. but when you listen to d passion behind that small voice, explaining things that interest and intrigues him, you could be easily pulled into their world of imagination.
unlike adults whose world of imagination has constantly been restricted to social norms, kids that ive talked to have a rather more fascinating and creative thoughts. sometimes its sad, what these kids wanted or needed to know are not taught in textbooks. and neither could I feed their curiosity; i tried with pathetic shallow answers that I wish I could take back. thats how much my knowledge is. bah. hee.
and he a ten-year old boy even noes 'humans make mistakes. we learn from them right.'
impressed? i am.
